This method removes genomic DNA from RNA using the Ambion Kit. This method is for removing upto 1ug of NA from RNA in a 25-100ul reaction volume.

1. Add 0.1 volume 10X DNase I Buffer and 1 ul of DNase I (2 units).  Incubate at 37C for 30 min

2. Vortex. ad 0.1 volume or 5 ul (whichever is greater) of the slurry to sample. (if more than 2 ul was used, use 0.2 volume). Incubate for 2 min in RT.

3. Centrifuge at 10K g for 1 min, transfer to new tube.
